This report comes from our quality-control software. Note how the Plat, in combination with the "Map?" indicator shows map problems and provides a visual confirmation of the Map Description. See how the red "U" in the first record indicates that the interest is unverified and most importantly, how the bright pink text message indicates a data entry problem. Finally, take a look at the legend showing different colors used for the ID# to differentiate leases, easements, units, etc.

This report layout can be used for many other purposes besides reporting errors. For example, it can show all owners under each tract when there are too many to fit on the map itself, or all leases containing a Transfer of Operating Rights flag so you can assign land personnel to do research. For our Expanded-Look and Land-Study clients, we supply the error report as a PDF and it contains bookmarks to help them quickly navigate to a particular county or township.
